Being organized by the African Alliance for Electronic Commerce in collaboration with the Ghana Community Network Services (GCNet), the Ministry of Trade and Industry and other partners, the conference aims to improve the customs management process, to promote doing business and business competitiveness in Ghana as well as to optimize revenue mobilization among key players in the trade industry.<\/p>\n\n<p>As the Government of Ghana is fully committed to benefit from the implementation of the Trade Facilitation Agreement of the World Trade Organization, the country is positioned among those with an open, transparent and dynamic trade economy. &#8220;Trade facilitation is the cornerstone of the government&#8217;s economic and trade development program. We believe that it will greatly help Ghana to realize its full potential as a great trading nation on the national and international level and to generate potential income and job growth at the country level&#8221; noted Hon Alan Kyerematen, the Ghana&#8217;s Minister of Commerce and Industry.
