The goal for this pilot project was to rehabilitate the Fire Brigade of Anosivavaka so as to strengthen an existing emergency center in one of the densest and most active areas of the Urban Commune of Antananarivo. The rehabilitation works lasted 6 months and were inaugurated in October 2016. Building on this success, the Association is continuing its efforts with new projects for 2017, namely improving the CUA&#8217;s network of water points.<\/p>\n\n<p>This project is pursuant to a need expressed by the CSP of Antananarivo and has multiple components : inventory of existing water points, proposal of new water points and pooling, installation of tanks, hydrants, basins.<\/p>\n\n<p>The PHENIX Association will provide support on 3 points:<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8211; Technical support for inventory and mapping<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8211; Raising awareness among local r\u00e9sidents about the pooling of water points<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8211; Financial contribution to create new water points<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the PHENIX Association, 2016 saw the success of its first project as part of its mission to improve the efficiency of fire and rescue services and contribute to better protection of people, goods and the environment.
