The official strating of the MIDAC took place on December 7th at the Caf\u00e9 de la Gare, Antananarivo. A great number of people from the Customs Services, as well as representatives from various Ministreis and Control Bodies took part in the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n
It should be reminded that the MIDAC is a module intended for Ministries, Departments and Control Bodies. It makes it possible for them:<\/p>\n\n
– To receive on line all the applications for permits, certificates, licenses and authorizations, which are required for the clearance of goods through customs;<\/p>\n\n
– To carry out the processing of these applications (off line) according to their mandate and their internal procedure while keeping their entire autonomy;<\/p>\n\n
– And finally, to confirm their decision (validation or rejection) within the system and transmit it, in real time and in a safe way, to the Customs Services.<\/p>\n\n
The implementation of such a module is of great interest. Indeed, aside from the facilitation, the dematerialization and the guarantee of the safety of procedures, which are the main objectives, this module will play a part in the modernization of the public service and will unquestionably contribute to the effective implementation of the Coordinated Management of Borders so much advocated by the OMD and the OMC<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
