Jointly organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the Ministry of the Tourism, Transport and Meteorology and the Civil Aviation of Madagascar (ACM), this meeting aimed to identify and implement required initiatives to optimize the regulatory framework for the sustainable development of air transport in Africa.<\/p>\n\n<p>This international meeting saw the participation of around thirty countries with a broad range of experts in airport, freights, financial institutions and aviation regulations, as well as academics, lawyers and consultants of the industry, decision-makers and operators. This international event was the opportunity to discuss key issues such as the synergies between air transport and tourism, connectivity and air transport development, regulatory responses aimed at passengers, the role of international agreements to achieve balanced liberalization, the impact of taxation on the development of air transport.<\/p>\n\n<p>The end of this meeting was marked by the adoption of a common statement on the sustainable development of the air transport in Africa<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Madagascar sheltered 25, 26 and 27 Mars last one, in Antananarivo, a meeting on the sustainable development of air transport in Africa.
