The agenda mainly focused on health issues and different projects related to children, women (obstetric fistula) have been presented. Such projects are respectively led by the Ministry of Public Health and the UNFPA. Furthermore, new members operating in the field of health, including the Aga Khan Foundation, the COFARMA, the SOMAPHAR and the SOPHARMAD have joined the PSHP.<\/p>\n\n<p>Beside those health issues, water supply projects, awareness for humanitarian actions and emergency response following natural disasters were also presented by Medair and Madagascar Hilfe NGOs and the PSHP.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An extraordinary general assembly of the Private Sector Humanitarian Platform was held on May 15th at the Ministry of Public Health Ambohidahy.
