{"id":4528,"date":"2019-08-01T14:36:19","date_gmt":"2019-08-01T11:36:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gasynet.com\/?p=4528"},"modified":"2019-09-23T14:38:59","modified_gmt":"2019-09-23T11:38:59","slug":"integration-of-the-maeps-veterinary-services-department-to-the-midac-module-for-the-issuance-of-the-sanitary-import-authorization-for-animal-origin-foodstuff-and-foodstuff-intended-for-animal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gasynet.com\/?p=4528","title":{"rendered":"Integration of the MAEP\u2019s Veterinary Services Department to the MIDAC module for the issuance of the sanitary import authorization for animal origin foodstuff and foodstuff intended for animal feeding"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In accordance with the provisions of the Decree 2004-041, the import and export of animals, products or foodstuffs of animal origin, seeds, fodder and foodstuffs intended for animal feeding require a sanitary authorization from the Veterinary Services Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way, the Veterinary Services Department or the\nMinistry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, in its Public Notice No. 81\/19-MAEP\/SG\/DGE\/DSV\nissued on July 22nd 2019, informs all importers of foodstuff of animal origin\nthat as from August 5th 2019, the use of the MIDAC module will be mandatory and\nconsequently, only the products whose request for authorisation were approved\nin MIDAC will be considered for customs clearance. Regarding the import of\nfoodstuff intended for animal feeding, the pilot phase will be launched on August\n5th 2019.
